im sitting here bored...there is nothing absolutly nothing on tv wednesday nights. i guess i never knew that since im usually at bowling, but bowling is over (ps...we are the womens association champs, try not to be jealous). i really should be cleaning my house since theres nothing on...

while sitting here i was looking at pictures of the kids and wow time really does fly doesnt it?? i never really think about it but man since we've had kids time just seems to get away from us. it kind of just dawned on me last night...i have a 9 yr old and a 6 yr old. my youngest is in kindergarten. ugh...makes me feel OLD! instead of blogging maybe i should organize all my photos. im so bad at that. im not a very organized person to say the least and im not gonna pretend i am either. so i guess i feel happy i manage to take the pics and put them on the computer. see it could be worse right??

anywho...we babysat my niece brynlee this past weekend. wow...soooo NOT used to having a baby around. kind of made my baby fever subside! :) she was so good while we had her. she loves kobey and cooper...its fun to see them together! heres my favorite pic from saturday...

off to bed...its almost 10:00. maybe i'll blog again this week...or not...

i cant believe my brother has a baby and i cant believe shes ONE already! so of course the good auntie that i am took some pics of her...BUT this time around it was very different from her 9mo photo-shoot. she actually wanted no part of it expect for about 3 pictures...so here are some that turned out.....and then as you can tell by the last one of her on here she was D-O-N-E. i love how kobey just keeps smiling and cooper just looks at her with amazement!

and of course we took a few of my kobey and cooper too...ugh dont they look so grown up??

OH and PS...i hate how my pics dont stay where i put them!!!!! GRR!! ok im done...

Well if you don't we sure do! Crazy how we went from no snow to TONS of snow. I love winter, so do Chad and the kids...but I could've started out with 2 in...then 2 more inches...etc etc. Oh well it is ND after all! Plus it makes me feel all nice and cozy!

First Day of School...

Whew! We all made it through the first day of school! I can NOT believe I have two kids in school. It makes me feel kinda old...not having any kids in daycare anymore (this is kind of mean but then I see some people that are alot older than me and have their oldest just starting kindergarten and it makes me feel a little better, ya know that I will be the young mom like my mom was...hehe), but I LOVE not having a daycare bill during the school year!!

Cooper has the same teacher as Kobey did her kindergarten year. She loved Mrs. Baumgarten and I know Cooper will too! Thanks Erin for making my kids' first year a little easier on me! We're so lucky to have you as a teacher and a friend!!

Cooper told us this morning that he did not sleep a wink last night...just to nervous he said, but he quickly got over it. Chad tried to hold his hand crossing the street today and he said "dad quit it". Sigh...hes growing up! Then lets move on to Kobey Jean...she gave me the "omg mother...quit taking pictures of me and get out of my room you're embarrassing me" look. I knew exactly what she meant and quickly left! :)

I have so many pictures that I should upload from this summer, but theres just not enough time in a day...or tonight. I am typing right now and trying to watch the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I can NOT get enough of all things Jersey...neither can Chad. I know he doesnt like to admit it but he watches these shows with me every night!!

Lets see what else is going on in our lives...nothing other than school now which is really nice. It slows us down big time. Gives us much more of a set schedule thats for sure. Thursday night we have family pictures. Im really excited because I found the coolest place to take our pictures....but I wish I was 15 lbs lighter! Hmmm...maybe Miss Ria could liquify me enough to make me appear 15 lbs lighter!! Maybe?!?!?!

Ok I have to go now...I cant miss another minute of this show down thats gonna go down tonight on Real Housewives!!!

Summer Fun...

Finally we have had some great summer weather! I swear it seems like we haven't had a summer like this in so so long! We've totally been taking advantage of this weather too. The kids have turned into little fish this summer. That pool is definetly hands down the best money we've spent in a long time. :)

Even dad got in on the fun! (We have a hard time getting him to swim with us for some reason...can you say party pooper?!)

Kobey Jean & Gracie Rae...

Well its Monday night and I am soooooo EXCITED to watch the new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey!! Anybody else watch it?? I am addicted! Even Chad watches it with me. Seriously he does. Teresa on that show is my fav...well one of my favs, Caroline comes in at a close 2nd. I just love Teresa cause shes so stinkin funny...like when she was talking about tattoos..she was asked if she'd ever get one and this was her response and I quote "would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?". Love it! She makes me chuckle!

Ok well my kids are upstairs yelling for me to get them some stuff nose medicine...poor things woke up today with head colds. I sure hope they can both play T-ball and softball tomorrow morning! We are getting ready to end the season.

I love to read my sister-in-laws blog. She writes like everyday, sooo unlike me! Wish I could but Im just not good at putting my thoughts in writting. Anyways, I found this "saying" on her blog and I feel really lucky because Chad is this total package and he reminds me of it everyday! Oh how I love him sooo! I just told him the other day I think I love him more today then I did on the day we got married. Is that possible?! I think...NO I KNOW it is!

Thats what I say to my friend Jen...everytime she comes home it gets brought up one way or another that I NEVER ever post anything! And everytime she gives me grief what do I do?? I go and post something within the next day or two just for her! Doesn't that make you feel special Jenny with a Y!! :)

I can't just write something and not post pics right? (Ya know whats weird, everytime Jen is home we never take pics with eachother! Hmmm I think thats going to be my mission next time we are together!) Anywho... So below are some pictures that I took the beginning of March of my kids along with my brothers baby girl. Isn't she just the cutest?!?! My kids are totally in love with her! As am I, so fun to be around a baby girl. I swear everyone I know for the past year or so has had nothing but boys! Enjoy!

We finally saw a glimpse of summer this past weekend. We mowed our yard, planted some more flowers & added to the garden and the kids ran through the sprinkler. Well it wasnt really a sprinkler. I was watering my plants and walked away, so they decided to take a bucket and prop the hose so they could run through it, but hey it worked! :) Just thought I'd post a few pics of the kids from this weekend. Its 10:00 on Tuesday night. I was on FB (aka CrackBook) and talking to one of my bestest friends Jenny. She says to me "when are you going to update your blog?????", I told her that we havent been up to much lately, BUT I would update the blog just for her. Then she added there better be pics of the "nothing" going on. :)

On Saturday, Chad and I did the MS Walk again this year. It turned out to be a stupendous day!! Needless to say the weatherman was wrong AGAIN ( I need a job where I get paid to make stuff up, I think I'd be pretty good at it). Thanks to everyone who came to walk with me!

Tuesday, I had mtgs all day, now Im listening to the wash machine and dryer, along with the stupid Cubs game and listening to Chad get more excited about the Cubs then he does about me (hehe), was on FB, oh and I went grocery shopping tonight. Whew what a Tuesday huh?? Such is the life of an old mom. :)

I love this little book I saw at the drug store the other day...the store has so many cute little books!

I have a love/hate relationship with Avonex. Its the drug I inject myself with once a week. I love it because it seems to be doing its job and keeping me functional (for lack of better words). I HATE it because it makes me sick...makes me feel like I have the flu...plus who likes to hurt themselves?? Its not so bad when a nurse is giving you the shot...but when you know its coming at the exact moment it sucks. But like I said...I LOVE it because it keeps me going!

For some reason Im in love with "little" books lately! My friend Paula gave me this. Every girl should have it!

Heres whats left of Kobey and Coopers snowmen. See all that water in the backround? Thats what I dont like. Spring is not a season I like. In fact its last on my list because its sooo gross and wet and dirty and sloppy and well you get the point! :)

Ok so its been way too long since I've updated this thing, but I've been getting harrassed by some people to get busy with updates. :) I guess I've just been lazy...well lazy and our computer took a dump at home and we really need to go buy a new one.

Anywho I guess I'll highlight my birthday party. :) Cause my friend "Jenny" says too!! On Feb 28th Chad and his helpers threw me a 30th (yes I said 30, I hardly look it so its hard to believe Im really 30, but trust me I am) Birthday Party. It was so much fun! A good time with lots of friends...cant get much better can it??

Oh yes I just about forgot to post my friend "Jenny's" 30th! And she really does not like to be called Jenny and she hates it when I spell it that way too. :) But on the 20th of December my best friend (and much older friend..LOL) Jen turned 30. So I headed into Fargo and headed out with her, her brother & sister inlaw & our friend Brandy. It was a low key night but we had a great time talking, laughing and of course having a few toddies! Here are a couple pics (I stole them from her blog..hehe)!! Oh and she won $100 that night...lucky gal.

Its been awhile since I've updated our blog so I thought I'd try to cover everything thats been going on the past couple weeks in one post! :)

Christmas Eve Chad, the kids and I spent the evening at my parents. We had a deeply fabulous meal at the Ramada (thanks Dad!) and then headed to their house to open gifts and play games. The kids made a haul as usual. It was a great time!!!

Christmas Day the kids opened gift here at home. Then we packed up and headed to Chads parents. We had supper and opened some good gifts. We spent the next day playing outside, sledding and going on sleigh rides.

Then on New Years Eve my parents took the kiddos and we headed into Fargo with some friends. We had a great meal downtown and great conversation! We didnt get home until almost 2 am...we were pretty impressed with ourselves. :)

Well that about sums up the past few weeks at our household! Best wishes for 2009!!

Oh and I cant seem to get the pictures rearranged the way I wanted...anyone have any advice on that?? Cause the way they look before I hit post...does not look the same when you are looking at it on my blog.........

Im finally getting around to blogging. We've been sooo busy lately. BUT on November 29th, Chad and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. To me it seems like yesterday...to Chad it probably feels like 15 yrs!! :) We had plans to head to Fargo meet our friends for a drink at the HoDo and then mosey on to Isabella to eat...well we ended up staying at the HoDo and eating at Taco Bell...yes I said TACO BELL! But we still make a pretty cute couple still. Dont ya think??

Cooper's Party

This past weekend Cooper got to have his first "real" birthday party or at least thats what he calls it! :) He was so excited to have his friends Tyler, Caleb & Adria (Coops little girlfriend) over. We spent most of the day as cloudy as it was outside. The kids ran around and had so much fun jumping into a big pile of leaves. Needless to say I think mom was just as tired as the kids!

Last week my friend Jen was home. I love to have her home, she is greatly missed when she's not here!! But good news is she now lives in the cities. So now shes within driving distance and I'll be able to see her more often. Yeah for me! Anywho...Jen and I got together with another classmate of ours, Brandy and Jen's sister-in-law Erin (who just happened to go to high school with my hubby). We went to Paradiso and ate a little and drank a little. Oh and they made fun of me cause they said I have a fake smile...well duh! I sooo suck at pictures, but they should just be proud of me for taking a picture. Cause I never used to even like to have pictures taken....so its a step in the right direction! Now Im just gonna have to practice my smiles in the mirror. Thanks for making me paranoid girls!! :)

Just some pics from last weekend. I cant believe how the leaves are really turning...along with the bean fields..almost harvest time...again...how big the ethanol plant has gotten. Chad and Cooper tried to catch frogs. And Kobey & Cooper rode around in their little gator...as you can see they broke down and Kobey made Cooper push them back to the house. And this ones for Meagan..if you notice Coops smile hes trying to smile "like auntie Meagan"!! :)

On Friday September 19th Miss Kobey Jean turned 7! She was so excited to have her party at the bowling alley....yes I said bowling alley. I gave her 10 different options of where we could have it and she came up with the bowling alley! She started bowling this year on Thursday's and for now shes thinking bowling is really cool, so that had to be where she came up with it right?? Or maybe its cause her mom bowls on Wed and is a gosh darn good bowler...ok not really but we have alot of fun! Ummm ya and PS..Chad and I bowled after the party and I kicked his butt!! These are a couple pics from Labor Day weekend. Chad and I took the kids to Bismarck for a couple days...to get out of town. :) We had a great time visiting the zoo and seeing some historical sites.
